The Cottage & Your Hosts
Your hosts at the Red Roof Inn Cottage are John & Lu Ismay and we’re pleased to host you in beautiful Comox, BC!
We live in the main house on the property, and the Cottage is a separate building on the far side with it’s own gated entrance and lots of privacy.
Our private self-contained cottage offers:
Open plan living room with dining table and well-equipped kitchen with eating bar
Bath with double shower, sink and full vanity and linen cupboard with great storage for personal items. Blow dryer, organic shampoo & body wash provided.
Separate bedroom with a lovely new pillow top queen sized bed with new linens, wall to wall mirrored closet for storage and stacking washer and dryer, plus ironing board and iron.
The door by the kitchen leads to a private sunny patio overlooking a garden and has a patio table and chairs and propane gas barbeque.
Relax at the Red Roof Inn and tune up the golf game! Putting green and driving net all installed, you can even give John a call and do a slow motion swing analysis on the flat screen TV at the R & A Chateau Poulet.
There is a separate driveway with gate to the cottage. We include organic eggs from “The Girls”, fresh bread, homemade preserves, butter, coffee, tea and milk, so you can rise and dine at your leisure.
COVID sanitation practices adhered to between each guest booking as per guidelines. The cottage is detached from our main home, has it's own entrance and driveway. No one will enter the cottage during your stay to ensure your health and safety.
LOCATION
Our private cottage is situated on almost one acre in Comox, a small town on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We are within a 10 minute walking distance to Goose Spit Beach, the Town of Comox or Radford Beach.
Our location offers the peace and quiet of the country, yet we are just a short drive to all amenities. We are 40 minutes from Mount Washington, 5 minutes from Comox Valley Golf Club and 10 minutes from Crown Isle Golf Club.
Downtown Comox is a five minute drive away, and offers lots of cafes & restaurants, as well as boutique shopping and the beautiful Comox Park & Marina. Here at the Cottage, we’re surrounded by lovely parks and walking/biking trails, and are only 10 minutes from the Comox Valley Airport and 15 minutes from the Powell River Ferry.
